York Tattoo

Ideas for a New York tattoo?

I need some ideas for a tattoo honoring New York state. I don’t want to the shape of the state, or the Yankees symbol (even though I am a fan!) or a cityscape. I want some original, and something that is clearly for New York. Open to any other ideas, the more the better. Thanks!

How about a Ladybug on a rose, with a bluebird hovering above?

Ladybug – official insect since 1989.
Rose – New York State flower adopted in 1955.
Bluebird – New York State bird adopted in 1970.
