Reputable tattoo parlors in Pittsburgh PA?

I’m looking to get a tattoo this fall for my birthday [it will be my first]. Get info early, I’m trying to compose a list of places to check out as possibilities. I’ve been asking some friends who had tattoos done where they went, and I was wondering if anyone out there has any input in addition.

Look at the Southside area of Pittsburgh. Take your time and look at your artist’s portfolio.

My boyfriend got his done at Southside Tattoo, but there are several other places to go down there as well.

I’m not one for tattoos, just piercings on my ears! If you ever get a piercing, I highly recommend Hot Rod Body Piercing–they have one of the few piercing places that have a high health standard and they know what they’re doing!
