Mother Son Tattoos
My neighbor lost her son last April in Iraq. She asked me about a tattoo she wanted to get.?
She wanted my opinion on a tattoo. Since her son can’t wear his Purple Heart, she wants to wear it for him. She had seen my medals on my wall and asked how I felt about it. I had never heard of a mom wearing a tat of a medal for their fallen. I told her that if it brought her close to her son that he would be PROUD for her to wear it for him. I also suggested that maybe a GOLD STAR in the middle of the ribbon would unite mother and son. Your comments are welcome because I will show the results to her as this may make the case for her to get the tattoo. Thanks to our Veterans!
Excellent suggestion with the gold star. Anybody who would have a problem with that is wrong. Tell her she has every right to get her tattoo as she has already made more of a sacrifice to this country than most people. May her son rest in peace, his brothers and sisters in arms will carry on from here.
